At the risk of seeming a heretic, this is one of those albums that's a good deal more interesting in theory than practice. It's not the rich or absorbing listening experience I was hoping for given the story behind it and its reputation. Too few musical/vocal ideas stretched far too thinly. Sober or otherwise, I found the album to be rather an endurance test.

Holy smite. Phew. Umm.. Could I hear the album just once more?
Simply mesmerizing, which ends far too quickly, if judging by accounting mere experience. .flac on loop does not disappoint my fellow stoners. I really don't have anything sensible to say. I'll just hit play again. Cheerio. modifier
